Dear neighbor,
In 2007, Starmount Company, the developer of Friendly Acres, relinquished the clubhouse and surrounding property to Friendly Acres Neighborhood Association (FANA), which was set up as a voluntary nonprofit corporation rather than the typical homeowners' association (HOA). Various neighbors have volunteered since then to operate the association with voluntary dues from neighbors.
Is my home included in FANA?
Neighborhoods included in Friendly Acres Neighborhood Association can be seen in the red highlighted area of the image here. These neighborhoods include Weston, Weston Woods, Parkston, and Friendly Acres.
Why Contribute?
Landscaping dues help support the common deeded areas of our neighborhood. In recent years, FANA has been forced to reduce the areas and quality we are able to maintain due to less than expected neighborhood support. With your contribution, the neighborhood association will continue to maintain the entrances at New Garden, Bearhollow, and Weston Woods. With everyone's support, FANA could also provide some improved beautification of these areas and add back other areas in the future.
